Caye Caulker is one of Belize’s hidden gems.  No paved roads.  Small boutique hotels.  Amazing street food.  And did we mention the water?

AYT now offers the fastest & easiest day trips to Caye Caulker.

We start with a fast flight from either San Pedro or Belize City, where you will be whisked to Caye Caulker in just minutes.  Keep your camera handy as you view the turquoise waters from out your window as manatees, sharks, and rays are sometimes visible.

You’ll be greeted at the air strip by the welcoming team from Island Magic Beach Resort.  Once at the resort, you can enjoy a sunrise drink from the multi-level deck with swinging chairs & tables while you await your captain/guide who will take you out to the reef, just off shore.

At the reef, you can sit back and watch the sharks huddle near the boat, along with sting rays & the occasional pelican – or jump in the water for a snorkel trip that feels like you are in an aquarium.  Once dried off, you’ll then cruise about 35 minutes south of Caye Caulker to Miami Beach – a pristine and very private escape from the bustles of the City and San Pedro.  Here, you can relax on the beach or take a swim in the crystal clear waters along the sandbar, which extends for almost a mile.  We’ll provide you with a small bite and drinks while at Miami Beach to cure any hungers, but don’t worry – lunch awaits you at the Magic Grill.

Guests have a choice of 4 food options and beverages (alcoholic & nonalcoholic) – including chicken, seafood, and a salad option. The rest of the day can be spent at the pool, relaxing in the swings, on the pier with a good book, or the bar – until 4PM comes when you get taken to Iguana Reef for a sunset cocktail.

While at Iguana Reef, you can experience a special marine preserve for sea horses and others.  At sunset, you may get to experience sting rays that swim right up to shore. They come right up to you as you offer them sardines and other small fish, right out of your hand!  A sunset toast/drink is included, as well as the ability to use the beachside amenities of the hotel.

Unfortunately 445PM (Belize City) & 515PM (San Pedro) comes too early as we then get you back to the Caye Caulker Air Strip for your flight back.
